Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The is a Request For Quotation (RFQ) and the solicitation number is F2VVSG7078A100. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-13. This procurement falls under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) 7000 and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) classification 721110, with a small business size of $6.5 Million. The 6th Contracting Squadron, Macdill AFB, Tampa, Florida, intends to issue a contract for the following: DESCRIPTION: USCENTCOM Central Region Medical Symposium 2007. REQUIREMENTS: HOTEL AND CONFERENCE IN THE DOWNTOWN AREA OF TAMPA (downtown area is within 3 miles of 401 Channelside Drive, Tampa, FL 33602): 40 single rooms, nights 20-25 May 2007 (40 rooms, 5 nights) blocked off for the use of conference participants. Cost is responsibility of the individual conference participants. Conference facilities/services consisting of 6 rooms all available from 0700-1700 daily as follows: 1 room for 100-150 people from 21-24 May 2007 (4 days, 1 room EA) classroom set-up. 3 rooms for 25 people each from 22-23 May 2007 (2 days, 3 rooms EA) conference table set-up. 1 meeting room/board room for support staff for 6 or more people, 21-24 May 2007 (4 days, 1 room EA). 1 small room close to the meeting rooms for prayer activity for visiting guests (4 days, 1 room EA). Adequate space should be available near meeting rooms to facilitate interaction during breaks. Formal breaks will occur at approximately 0930 on 21-24 May and formal afternoon breaks at approximately 1430 on 21-23 May. No audiovisual support is required. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-14, effective 22 Nov 2006. The work covered by this contract consists of, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all parts, labor, services, tools, materials, equipment, supervision and transportation necessary to provide the item listed above, in its respective quantity. Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The following addendum is provided to this provision: Request for Quotation should be submitted and shall contain the following information: SOLICITATION NUMBER; NAME; ADDRESS; TELEPHONE NUMBER OF OFFEROR; PRICE, ANY DISCOUNT TERMS AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ALL SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS. Quotes must indicate quantity, unit price and total amount. Offerors that fail to furnish the required information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The following Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation (AFFARS) clause applies: AFFARS 5352.201-9101 Ombudsman. The offeror shall provide its DUNS, or if applicable its DUNS+4 number with its offer, which will be used by the Contracting Officer to verify that an offeror is registered in the CCR database. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offerer ineligible for award. To help expedite the process for invoice submission for payment you can register in the Wide Area Work Flow system (https://wawf.eb.mil/). Attached is a quick guide on registering and invoicing in the Wide Area Workflow system. The codes you will use are listed below. Both the customers and the vendors will to complete this process. The vendor will invoice and the customer will accept the delivery of the product/service. There is a tutorial on the website (https://wawftraining.eb.mil/ ) that will train you on how to set up your accounts and explain your responsibilities.
