- This announcement constitutes notice of intent to award on an interim basis a 2 month cost plus award fee contract for public works and logistics support services to the incumbent contractor, Cube Corporation, dba VT Griffin, in support of the Fort B liss Directorate of Public Works and Directorate of Logistics. The contract will begin on 1 August 2007. Services will include buildings and structures maintenance, family housing maintenance, utility systems operation and maintenance, incidental heating , ventilation, and air conditioning systems operations and maintenance, dining facility equipment maintenance, grounds maintenance, surfaced area maintenance, pest control, self-help/U-do-it services, installation transportation services, base supply servi ce, and material maintenance. This is being conducted under FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(C)(iii)(B) as unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements and interruption of services would cause the Government harm and irreparable damage. THIS IS NOT A REQ UEST FOR PROPOSAL. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. This is a notice of intent to award a short-term interim contract to the incumbent contractor until a competitive award is made under the terms and conditions of the Army Field and Installation Readiness Support Team contracts.
