Request for Quote # 66999: Senior Management Conference for Department of Health and Human Services This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. GovWorks is issuing this solicitation on behalf of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). The solicitation number is 66999 and is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written quotes only. Oral quotes will not be accepted. The requirement is to acquire all supplies, materials and equipment necessary to hold a Senior Management Conference in support of the DHHS. See the Statement of Work below for further details and the conference requirements. The conference will be conducted on June 17th through June 19th, 2007. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. 52.212-2 -- Evaluation -- Commercial Items. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation and Statement of Work will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items. 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items. All payment requests must be submitted electronically through GovPay. To constitute a proper invoice, the GovPay payment request must conform to the requirements identified in FAR 32.905(b), Payment Documentation and Process, and FAR 52.232-25. Prompt Payment. Detailed GovPay information for use of GovPay may be obtained on the Internet at www.govpay.gov. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 721110. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), http://www.ccr.gov. Quotes are required to be received no later than 3:00 P.M. STATEMENT OF WORK: Requirement to conduct this conference from June 17th through June 19th 2007: The only dates available for senior officials to attend this important conference are from June 17th through June 19th 2007. In order to address issues that could impact the department's ability to deliver critical programs, and because the limited availability of the department's senior officials, this conference must take place on these dates. Furnish all necessary supplies, materials and equipment to acquire hotel accommodations to enable a Senior Management Conference in support of the Department of Health & Human Services.
