- The government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract under an other than full and open competition limited to the manufacturer and distributors of the Lambda 950 and its Universal Reflectance Accessory (URA) ITEM 1- LAMBDA 950 WITH UV WINLAB. High performance UV/Vis/NIR double beam, double monochromator, Ratio Recording Spectrometer. Wavelength range 175 nm 3300 nm. N2 purge required below 185 nm. System control via the UV-WinLab operating software for compatible Personal Computers. Optical unit includes: Pre-aligned tungsten halogen lamp and deuterium lamp with automatic source change; All reflecting optical system with holographic grating monochromator with 1440 Lines/mm UV/Vis blazed at 240nm and 360 lines/mm NIR blazed at 1100 nm, Littrow mounting, - Chopper (46+Hz, cycle: Dark/Sample/Dark/Reference Chopper Segment Signal Correction CSSC) Sample thickness compensated detector optics, gridless photomultiplier for high energy in the whole UV/Vis. Peltier cooled PbS detector for NIR wavelength range. Spectral bandwidth from 0.05 nm UV/Vis, spectral bandwidth from 0.2 to 20nm NIR. Large interchangeable sample compartment and detector module. ITEM 2 ? UNIVERSAL REFLECTANCE ACCESSORY (URA). UV/NIR. Accessory enabling high-sensitivity, absolute reflectance measurements at multiple angles in the UV/NIR region of the spectrum. Features include: Automatic and reproducible changes of angle with no adjustment to sample or optics required; sample angles selected by single mouse click; Multi-angle analysis achieved with single accessory; sample horizontally mounted removing the inconvenience and risk of damage associated with vertical clamping; URA module simply snaps into the spectrometer and is ready to be used without any adjustment. ITEM 3 ? INTEGRATING SPHERE 150MM. Comprising Integrating sphere contained in a module which simply snaps into the spectrometer and is ready to be used without any adjustment. Features include: Spectralon coated, 150mm diameter, 8 degree sample and reference reflectance ports, 0 degrees transmittance port, optional cell holder, removable light trap at 8 degrees, Wavelength range: 200 to 2500nm ITEM 4 - CENTER MOUNT (JAW STYLE) FOR 150MM SPHERE - Center mounted sample holder, Jaw Style. For 150mm integrated spheres. Jaw style for solid samples like glasses, prisms, etc. ITEM 5 - ACCESSORY - VARIABLE ANGLE TRANSMITTANCE - Includes sample holder and manual rotary stage kinematically positioned in front of the sphere. ITEM 6 - COMMON BEAM DEPOLARIZER - Common beam depolarizer. For measurements with depolarized light. Wavelength range: 190 to 2600nm. Setup with stepper drive. ITEM 7 - DOUBLE POLARIZER/DEPOLARIZER DRIVE - High performance double polarizer (depolarizer) driver for installation in the sample compartment. The polarization (depolarization) orientation can be fully automated changed by a scan at a fixed wavelength or with a stepping mode. Resolution of 0.25 degrees for scanning. The polarization (depolarization) orientation in the stepping mode can be changed at up to 20 wavelength positions. ITEM 8 - POLARIZER CRYSTAL - High performance polarizer. One set to update the double polarizer drive. For equal energy level in sample and reference beam, 2 sets. Wavelength range: 300 to 2600nm.
