- The Regional Contracting Office, Camp Lejeune, NC 28547 intends to award a sole source contract to Elevated Securities Inc, 362 West Burr Blvd, Kearneysville, WV 25430 for a Mini Titan Mobile Solar and Wind System to support 8th Communication Battalion, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina 28542 pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. This equipment will be used to ensure the Comunications Support Teams are completely self sufficient during assigned missions. This capability to support the power requirements of these teams without the use of conventional generators and fuel support is unprecedented in the Marine Corps. These systems will also allow the battalion to explore the possibility of using these systems to power larger amounts of communications equipment. This notice is for information purposes only and is a not a request for proposal. No solicitation document is available and telephone, fax or e-mail requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers re ceived in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government.
