Description
The Marine Corps Systems Command, Program Manager for Training Systems (PMTRASYS) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Transparent Language, Inc, 12 Murphy Drive Nashua, NH 03062, with an initial amount of $1.3M with options for $0.3M per year for five years to provide a Community-wide License for Use of Content in the USG CL-150 Content Pool and Annual Maintenance and Technical Support Plan with Update/Upgrade Stream Subscription. The requirement is to provide an ubiquitous, multi-platform, multi-language technology to support language learning and enhancement by any and all Marine Corps personnel whenever and wherever the need and opportunity arise. This effort will cover a perpetual license of Transparent Language, Inc.?s complete CL-150 Technology Matrix for Critical Languages products, technologies and component technologies, including Talker?, Rapid Rote?, Language Pro? and Alphabet Exploder? for use and reproduction throughout the Marine Corps along with all content and software upgrades produced during the 12-month period following contract award. Specifically, the desired capabilities, products and services provided by the CL-150 Technology Matrix for Critical Languages are: ?Many languages (150 languages of national security interest to the United States) ?Many domains or mission areas supported ?Many skills, ?Multiple proficiency levels from beginner to experienced linguist ?Multiple instruction regimens, and ?Available on all appropriate hardware platforms to support language training anywhere and anytime. ?An architecture that supports sharing of training materials and prevents obsolescence.
