- Description
- The Internal Revenue Service intends to issue a solicitation for Combination NTSC to Internet Protocol (IP) / Microwave to Internet Protocol (IP) Repeater Enclosures. The IRS currently has remote covert L-Band video surveillance systems. The systems can be controlled remotely (camera - pan, tilt, zoom, etc.) via DTMF. The IRS requires an enclosure that will accomplish the following: receive the L-Band microwave transmission and convert it to video that is suitable for broadband (IP) transmission and take the NTSC video output of the camera in the concealment and convert it to video that is suitable for broadband (IP) transmission. This is a 100% small business set-aside and the NAICS code is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. The Government intends to award a fixed-price (FP), indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) , multi-agency contract (MAC) for a base period of one (1) year with four (4) one-year options. Award will be made to the vendor representing the best value to the Government. The estimated date of solicitation release is April 18, 2007. Printed copies of the solicitation document and amendments will not be provided by the issuing office.
