Description

On behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency, Missile & Space Intelligence Center's (MSIC) Virginia Contracting Activity intends to purchase the following pieces of equipment: 10' X 10' Immersive Display Surface and related structural hardware (4 each), Integrated Tracking Equipment (1 each), Christie Stereographic Projectors (3 each), Rendering Hardware/Software (3 each) from Penn State University. Hardware and software is to be acquired, installed and configured to enhance existing equipment and performance capabilities by Penn State ARL on a Sole Source basis. Penn State possesses unique expertise, resources and capabilities and an extensive history and experience dealing with immersive visualization systems. At present, no other sources are known to be able to provide the necessary equipment, installation and oversight of this additional equipment to DIA's own system. Interested offerors may submit proposals which will be considered. Proposals should be sent to Mary Cawthorne (contact information provided below). Email is preferred but fax proposals will be accepted. Proposals must arrive in this office not later than close of business (4:00 p.m. CST) on 03 April 2007.
