- The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Jerry's Ford Sales, Inc., 6510 Little Rive Turnpike, Annandale, VA, 22003 for the purchase of four (4) 2006 Lincoln Town cars currently lease by the USSS under our existing agreement with Ford Motor Company under contract TSS030001. This is a one-time purchase for vehicles within the terms of an existing contract. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302 Circumstances Permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is not a request for competitive quotes. Request to be considered must include a full capability statement and must be received no later than Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at 5 pm EST. **Questions must be emailed to Patricia Kiely at patricia.kiely@usss.dhs.gov no later than Wedesday, April 4, 2006 at EST. Questions received by fax or telephone will not be accepted or acknowledged. The Government anticipates an award date on or about Friday, 13 April 2007. The Government will not be responsible for any costs in preparation of responses to this announcement.
