Description

The VA Stars & Stripes Healthcare Network (VISN) intends to enter into a sole source contract with The Advisory Board Company, 600 New Hampshire Avenue NW, Washington D.C., 20037, to renew annual membership for VISN 4 in the following program, the Nursing Lead Advisory Board for the period of May 4, 2007 to May 3, 2008. The ten (10) participating VA Medical Centers are Altoona, PA; Butler, PA; Clarksburg, WV; Coatesville, PA; Erie, PA; Lebanon, PA; Philadelphia, PA; Pittsburgh, PA; Wilkes-Barre, PA; and Wilmington, Delaware. The Nursing Lead Advisory Board services include unlimited attendance at all national meetings; one onsite research presentation; unlimited access to www.advisory.com and associated online tools; unlimited participation on all teleconferences; unlimited access to research experts; and unlimited publication orders and re-orders. This announcement is for services for which the Government intends to negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2). Interested parties are requested to submit no later than April 9, 2007 C.O.B. clear and convincing data substantiating their capabilities and qualifications to provide comparable membership services that offer best practices, research and analysis to healthcare industries focusing on business and economic issues, health system strategies, cost governance, and operations. However, all interest received on or before April 9, 2007, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
