- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued separately. The solicitation number is FA5000-07-T-0006. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated FAR provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16 and Class Deviation 2005-o0001. The DFARS provisions and clauses are those in effect to DCN 20070327. Purchase Addition of Flashover Effect to Existing Structural Fire Trainer T-500. THIS REQUIREMENT IS SOLE - SOURCE PROCUREMENT. TO BE DELIVERED TO ELMENDORF AFB, ALASKA, requested delivery is no later than 1 August 2007. Determination of Contracting Officer: Purchase T-500 Flashover Effect from Kidde Fire Trainers Inc, purchasing from another company will void the original equipment manufacture warranty on the existing units. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Offers will be evaluated based on technically acceptable, lowest price. Each offeror shall comply with the provision at FAR 52.212-3 w/ Alt.
