Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ITEM 0001: 100 ft length power cable assemblies, 93A, 400Hz power cable assembly with phase balanced wires, replaceable contact section and a molded strain relief behind patented cable head assembly. Cable will be constructed with 3#4s for (A,B&C, 3#9s for Neutral and 6#14s for Control wires. Cable weight is approximately 1.2 lbs per foot and has a diameter of approximately 1.25. Replacement contact section is under NSN 5999-01-447-2960. Cable head will also have patented Thermgard device in replace ment contact section as per NSN requirement.. QTY 10 EACH ITEMS ARE REQUIRED WITHIN 30 DAYS ARO, AND FOB DESTINATION IS REQUIRED. . This Synopsis and Solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and 13.106, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announc ement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offer will not be accepted), on Purchase Request nu mber FM7127. NAICS code: 336413; SIZE STANDARD is 1000 employees. Award will be made on the lowest-priced technically acceptable offer. Inspection and acceptance shall be made at destination: 171st Base Supply, 300 Tanker Rd. # 4218, Coraopolis, PA 15108-4805.
