- Project encompasses a variety of energy conservation measures. Work primarily consists of plating shop and paint booth improvements. Project also includes ventilation improvements in the weld shop and heat treat shop, building envelope improvements in two buildings, cooling tower modifications for a compressor plant, and installation of T5 task lighting in welding and other shops. The following options will be included: Option 1: Energy Conservation Renovations to Building 208 - Work includes modi fications to Paint Booth #1, Paint Booth #2 and additional task lighting in Building 208 and Option 2: Energy Conservation Renovations to Building 220 - Work includes renovation of windows, installation of ductwork, including heating and ventilation contro ls and vent hoods to grinders. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP). Proposals received in response to this solicitation will be evaluated for the best value to the Government in accordance with the following criteria listed in descending ord er of importance: Technical Approach, Experience, Past Performance, Management, Price and Pro Forma Requirements. All evaluation factors, other than cost or price, when combined, are equal to cost or price. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 .00 and $5,000,000.00. NAICS 236210. Size standard is $31M. Contract duration period is 360 calendar days. Approximate issue date is April 16, 2007 and approximate closing date is May 31, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. Eastern time. Information regarding a pre-prop osal meeting at Rock Island Arsenal will be provided in the solicitation. Downloads are available only through the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS) website.
