- Description
- Duties include pumping of sewage waste from the shower, admin and maintenance buildings, sanitary disposal station, six vault privies, the campground fee collector tank, five portable toilets and two vaults at Bad Axe landing(overhead height restrict ion of 9 6 ). The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and fuel to complete this work. Pumping shall be performed between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM Monday thru Friday with the exception of three Holiday weekends. The Blackhawk staff will be responsibl e for monitoring all vaults and will notify contractor when pumping is needed. Sanitary service needs will fluctuate according to visitation usage and infrequent flooding. Payment shall be made for actual gallons removed. In 2005 and 2006 approximately 150,000 gallons were removed.
