Description

The Bureau of Land Management has a requirement to perform time-critical removal actions at the Arrastra Gulch Dump site. The site is located 2 miles east of the community of Silverton in San Juan County, CO. The dump is associated with the old Mayflower Mill and is situated in a forested area at the top of a slope immediately below a single track unimproved road. The purpose of this work is to implement time critical removal actions to reduce exposure to toxic metals in the Arrastra Gulch Dump and to reduce offsite migration, especially toward Arrastra Creek. This work must be accomplished by September 30, 2007 depending on funding. This requirement is open to Total Small Business Set Asides. The estimated price range is between $50,000.00 and $100,000.00. The solicitation will be available by electronic posting only and may be found at www.fedbizopps.gov. Bidders may print the bid documents to submit their bid by mail, or bids may be submitted electronically. Facsimile bids will also be accepted at 303-239-3699. The solicitation documents will be posted on or about 4/10/07. Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov and the Reps & Certs have to be completed in ORCA in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation.
