Description

The principal components of work shall include: (1) Mobilization and preparatory work; (2) Saw cutting existing concrete; (3) Removal and disposal of existing concrete from the floor of the spillway; (4) Repair and/or replacement of existing reinforcement if needed; (5) Placing replacement concrete in repair areas; (6) Furnishing and installing PVC waterstops; (7) furnishing and installing joint sealant, and (8) Sealing existing concrete surfaces. This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The sealed bids are tentatively due on or around May 24, 2007, at the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, Room 2015, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana 59101 (Attention: Alma Bergerson, GP-3800). The solicitation package is tentatively scheduled to be issued on or around April 24, 2007. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation package; additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a non-refundable cashier check or money order in the amount of $9.00 per set. The estimated price range of the project is $1,000,000-$5,000,000. The North American Industrial Classificaiton Code (NAISC) is 238110 (new) 235710 (old), the Product and Service Code is Z211, the Small Business Size Standard is $13.0 million. This is an unrestricted acquisition. The solicitation specifications/requirements and drawings will NOT be posted on the Internet. A complete solicitation package is available in hard copy upon written request. To receive a hard-copy of the solicitation, a written request on company letterhead, including contractor's name, mailing address, telephone and fax numbers, Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), and Dun and Bradstreet Number (DUNS), must be faxed to Hart BlackEagle, FAX No. 406-247-7798. Contractors interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and must have an active registration. (http://www.ccr.gov). Contractors submitting a bid must complete their Representations and Certifications on Line (Section K of the solicitation).
