- Sources Sought Synopsis ? The Department of the Navy, Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division, Special Communications Requirements (SCR) Division (Code 4.5.11) is seeking sources for Mobile Command Center Vehicle and Trailer. Detailed design specifications for the required Mobile Command Center Vehicle and Trailer are provided at the Naval Air Systems Command, 2.0 Contracts website: http://www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitations. This vehicle is required to be transportable via a C-17 or larger aircraft. It is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources prior to determining the method of acquisition. Interested parties are requested to submit a capabilities statement of no more than 18 pages in length including drawings. The capability statement document must address how the offeror will meet each item in the specification. Drawings shall include Side (interior and exterior), Rear Elevation drawings of the Vehicle and Trailer, and Top Down layout configuration drawings of the Vehicle and Trailer. Also, include with the capability statement document a basic cost estimate. In a separate document include any alternatives or suggestions regarding the Mobile Command Center Vehicle and Trailer specification and provide any corresponding price changes associated with those suggested changes. All data received in response to this sources sought, marked or designated as corporate or proprietary, will be fully protected from release outside the Government. The applicable NAICS code is 333924 with a size standard of 750. Please indicate your company?s business size under this NAICS code, and provide your CAGE code.
