- The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) is soliciting proposals for one or more investment managers to provide an actively-managed fixed income product that will limit PBGC's exposure to liabilities. PBGC seeks proposals from firms that manage at least $2.0 billion in total assets in the product the firm presents for consideration under this Request for Proposal (RFP). The performance record for the proposed product must have met or exceeded the annualized rate of return for the product benchmark for the four (4) years ending December 31, 2006. The period of performance for the base period plus all option periods, if exercised, will be seven (7) years. The solicitation is not currently available, but is estimated to be available on or about April 16, 2007. The solicitation document, including any amendments, will be distributed through the FedBizOpps.gov web site. The site contains downloading instructions. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation and associated amendments will not be made available.
