- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The NAICS Code is 333314, Size Standard not to exceed 500. Solicitation/Purchase Requisition number F2KBAD7059A001 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). TECHNICAL LITERATURE MUST BE SUBMITTED FOR EQUAL PRODUCTS OFFERED FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO PERFORM A TECHNICAL EVALUATION. NO FURTHER REQUEST WILL BE MADE TO OBTAIN REQUIRED LITERATURE AND FAILURE TO SUBMIT MAY RESULT IN YOUR OFFER BEING ELIMINATED FROM AWARD CONSIDERATION. OFFERS MUST MEET ALL MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS. This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15 effective 12 Feb 07. The Government intends to award the following: (CLIN 0001) Semiconductor Tunable Laser module and controller OR EQUAL. Laser Tuning Range: 1045 nm to 1070 nm Laser Fine tuning step: 50 GHz Laser Linewidth: less than 300 kHz Output: Laser light coupled to fiber. Fiber type: PM Panda. Fiber connector: FC/APC Inline fiber isolator (35dB isolation) DESIRED DELIVERY DATE: 30 May 07 FOB: DESTINATION. Inspection and acceptance: DESTINATION. The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; Addenda to FAR 52.212-1. In accordance with the FAR 13.106-1(a)(2) offerors are notified that award will be made based on technical acceptability and price.
