Description

The Government intends to issue Solicitation W52H0907-T-0344 as a 100% HUBZone Set Aside for the following item: Fabric, CB Protection, 4240-01-331-3250, 5-19-11349. The Chemical-Biological Protection Fabric is constructed of Saranex material. Thi s material comes under the Berry Amendment requiring textiles for Government use to be produced in the U.S. First Article Testing is required. The estimated issue date of the solicitation is 18 April 2007. The solicitation will result in the award firm fixed-price contract. Delivery will be FOB Destination. The solicitation shall be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 5.204, therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wanting an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue dat e by accessing the following Internet address: https://aais.ria.army.mil/AAIS/Padds_web/index.html. CAUTION: This solicitation shall be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation to main tain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them by the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of the same.
