Description

THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT/NEGOTIATE/AWARD ON A SOLE SOURCE BASIS WITH RANGE SYSTEMS BY RENEW RESOURCES, NEW HOPE, MN, UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302-1 AND 10 U.S.C.2304 (c)(1). The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) int ends to issue a sole source, firm fixed-price, 5-year long term contract to Range Systems by Renew Resources under the authority stated above. The item to procure is a LF Shoot House using the Dura-Bloc/Dura-Panel Ballistic Rubber Support System for Milita ry Grade Walls of three-eighths (3/8) or one-half (1/2) inch AR 500 Steel. The minimum guaranteed quantity is 1 each Shoot House. The maximum quantity is 3 each Shoot Houses over the life of the contract. FOB is DESTINATION. For training use at Fort Lewis, WA. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the r equirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Govern ment. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
