Description

The U.S. Army Sustainment Command will be issuing solicitation W52P1J-07-R-0079 for the 25MM PGU-25/U High Explosive Incendiary Cartridge, NSN: 1305-01-199-6737, P/N: 1397AS590. This solicitation is restricted to Alliant Techsystems, Mesa, AZ, and G eneral Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, Marion, IL, and is synopsized for subcontracting purposes only. Contractors interested in subcontracting are to contact Alliant Techsystems and General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems directly. The es timated issue date is April 17, 2007 and estimated closing date is May 18, 2007. The approximate total quantity for this FY07 procurement is 335,231 cartridges to include an option for FY08-FY11 for up to a quantity of 1,840,429 cartridges. The Governmen t contemplates split awards (55%/45%) on the base quantity of 335,231. A First Article Test will be required within 120 days after award, with the first production delivery due 210 days after award.
