Description: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. The U.S. Department of the Treasury, Financial Management Service intends to award a sole source contract for voice telephone services for the FMS facility in Birmingham, AL. The period of performance proposed is a base year with four one-year option periods. The award is proposed to BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc., Atlanta, GA for local telephone service. Statutory authority for this sole source is 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This notice is for informational purposes only.
