- Description
- The U. S. Postal Service is soliciting proposals from pre-qualified contractors for construction of a 16,221 square foot pre-engineered vehicle maintenance facility on a USPS?owned 6.5 acre site located on Downing Road in Fayetteville, North Carolina. All work will be done in accordance with USPS approved drawings and specifications. The site will require clearing. Site improvements include, but are not limited to, entrance/curb cuts, rigid and flexible paved parking, circulation and maneuvering areas, site lighting, site drainage, security fencing, utility work, and a storm water retention pond. The building will be a pre-engineered metal building with eleven workbays, alignment, pressure wash and tire storage bays, stockrooms, administration areas, toilets/lockers, vehicle lifts, exhaust extraction system, mechanical, and machine and compressor rooms. The project will have interior masonry and gypsum board walls, scissors lift, overhead sectional doors, and interior and exterior signage. The estimated cost of the project is between $2,225,000 and $2,500,000 with construction completion within 180 calendar days from notice to proceed.
