Description
This acquisition is for a firm fixed price purchase on NSN: 1730-00-763-2382RN This item is Noun: Aircraft Hoisting Unit, P/N: 1C5442G1. This item will have be solicited with a quantity range of 1-3ea in the basic year, and 4 option years with following qty: OPTION I( 1-5ea.) OPTION II( 1-5ea).OPTION III(1-5ea.) OPTION IV( 1-5ea.) Size/DIM: heights 164ins, width 126ins, depth 126ins, 910lbs. Form/Function: This hoisting unit is a knock down type, monorail hoist supported by catser wheels bearing on steel tracks at floor level. An I section beam at a height of 13.5 feet from the floor level is supported by a 10.5 foot square structural steel framework. The I section beam carries two chain falls on trolleys. The unit is air transportable when disassembled. It is specifically designed for maintenance teardown and assembly tasks associated with J-79 and TF-30 aircarft engines. Predominant Mtrl of Manufacture: Steel. The approximate solicitation date will be 2 April 2007 with the approximate response date of 2 May 2007. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading at www.fedbizopps.gov only. No telephone requests. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. This acquisition may/does involve technology that has a military or space application. The only US contractors who may participate are those that are certified and registered with DLSC ( 1-800-352-3572) and have a legitimate business purpose. US contractors must submit a copy of their current approved DD form 2345 with their request for password access. To Request this certification, write to the commander, Defense Logistics Services Center, ATTN: DLSC- FEB, Federal Center, Battle Creek, MI 49017-3084 and request a copy of DD form 2345 or call DLSC at the above number.
