- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for a firm-fixed price type contract for the intended procurement of Microearthquake (MEQ)Array Equipment Upgrades. The MEQ Equipment must meet the required form, fit, and function requirements put forth herein. Seismic Recorder, Broadband, 3 Channel QTY: 10 -Physical Requirements: Small. Preferably no larger than 6" high x 8" wide x 14" long. Lightweight for ease of field deployable needs. J No heavier than 5 lbs.(2kg) Watertight integrity of IP 67(Ingress protection. 6-Totally protected by dust. 7-Protected from water immersion between 15cm to 1m. Must survive a 1 meter drop on any axis and have an operating temperature range of -20 C to +60 C and be capable of long term deployments. -Connectors: Power, NET, GPS, Serial Port, Channel Input. -Recording Modes: Continuous record length, Time Trigger (List of record times and lengths), Event Trigger (STA/LTA), Level Trigger (Absolute value, G, or % full scale), and External Trigger (External pulse on trigger input line.) -Data Storage: FAT 32 file format, Minimum of 2 GB compact flash disk, removable. A battery back-up SRAM, 5 MB. And PASSCAL recording format with the ability to convert data to MiniSEED, Seismic, or SEGY. -Digitizer Performance: High order ?-? modulation, 256 KHz base rate, 24-bit output resolution. Also requires, 3 channels, broadband, and a dynamic range of greater than 134 dB. Samples rates: 1, 5, 10, 20, 40, 50, 100, 125, 200, 250, 500, 1000 sps (samples per second). A gain selection of 1-32 and must provide complete instrument State of Health (SOH). -Timing: Internal DCXO/VCXO clock disciplined to GPS, Internal GPS Receiver, External GPS Antenna, software configurable duty cycle and an Accuracy of +/- 10 microseconds after valid GPS lock. -Software: Operating system compatible with Linux, Windows, and Solaris. Also must be a Java based application. -User Interface Directly on the unit by an LCD or through a hand-held PDA -Warranty: Minimum 1 year factory replacement/repair of unit or parts with no out of pocket cost to the GPO. And Available Technical support via phone or internet.
