- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6-STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS-AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation W911S7-07-T-0115 will be issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ). This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16. Provisions and clauses may be downloaded at http://www.farsite.hill.af.mil. It is the responsibility of the offeror to be familiar with all applicable clauses and provisions. *** The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334519 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This RFQ is 100 % set-aside for Small Business Concerns. This acquisition is to be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The right to make multiple awards is reserved in the event it is advantageous to the Government to do so. CLIN 0001, 2 Each Brand name or equal to Radiation Safety and Control Services, PN: STS-DT616-G Self contained simulated probe for gamma radiation. Works with the Canberra AN/VDR-2 (Radiation Detector) instruments. All Offeror s providing Or Equal Products must provide specifications. Failure to do so will cause bid declared non-responsive. CLIN 0002, 2 Each Brand name or equal to Radiation Safety and Control Services, PN: STS- 913VR. Simulated Gamma-360 degree source (1 plane) - with Variable remote intensity switch. All Offerors providing Or Equal Products must provide specifications. Failure to do so will cause bid declared non-responsive. CLIN 0003, 2 Each Brand name or equal to Radiation Safety and Control Services, PN: STS- 911VR. Simulated Gamma-Box source-with variable remote switch. All Offerors providing Or Equal Products must provide specifications. Failure to do so will cause bid declared non-responsive.
