- The Chula Vista Channel Project Nogales Wash and Tributaries consists of standard construction work and 1 bridge associated with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Civil Works Flood Control Project for Chula Vista Channel Nogales Wash and Tributaries inc luding demolition of one existing bridge and replacement, low flow bypass with channel excavation, and stone placement during construction period. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement; all responsible sources may submit an offer. Please note that there are special instructions pertaining to hand delivered bids. These special instructions can be viewed in Section 00100 of the advertised solicitation. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construct ion, $31 M average annual gross revenue for the last three (3) fiscal years. The estimated cost range of this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000. The performance period for this project is 274 calendar days. This is an IFB Firm Fixed Price Se aled Bid Procurement. ALL BIDDERS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROCUREMENT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELLED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, EVALUATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. The Los Angeles District subcontracting goals are as follows: 51.2% with sm all business, 8.8% with small disadvantaged business, 7.3% with woman owned small business, 3.1% with hub zone small business, and 1.5% with service disabled veteran owned small business. All interested contractors are reminded that the successful large bu siness contractors will be expected to place subcontracts with the provisions of Public Law 95-507. The solicitation will be available on or about 26 April 2007. All bids are due 31 May 2007, 1:00 P.M., Pacific Time, at which time the bid opening will occu r: The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet only. Amendments to this solicitation will be issued as Internet only. No additional media (Compact Disks, Floppy Disks, Faxes or paper) will be provided unless the Govern ment determines that it is necessary. An important notice to all potential offerors: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles, has implemented a new procedure for posting solicitations.
