Description

The National Park Service intends to issue a Prospectus for proposals to operate a hostel including overnight accommodations and related services within Redwood National and State Parks. The existing Concession Contract between the National Park Service and the existing Concessioner expires on December 31, 2007, or until such time as a new Concession Contract is awarded, whichever occurs first. The Director, pursuant to 36 CFR Part 51, has determined that the existing Concessioner is a preferred Offeror for the Contract to be awarded. The length of the new Contract will be for seven (7) years. Any offer, including that of the existing Concessioner, must be received by the Concessions Program Manager, National Park Service, Pacific West Region, 1111 Jackson Street, Suite 700, Oakland, CA 94607 no later than ninety-one (91) days from April 4, 2007 in order to be evaluated and considered for an award of a Concession Contract. The Prospectus will be issued on April 4, 2007, for a 91-day response period under the terms described in the Prospectus, with proposals due on July 3, 2007, no later than 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). There is a printing cost recovery charge of $50 per copy to be delivered via Federal Express or $40 per copy if picked up in person. Checks or money orders (no cash accepted) must be payable to the National Park Service; and you must include a business address (no post office box) to receive a Federal Express package.
