- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS LEASED OFFICE SPACE HOUSTON, TEXAS PROJECT NO.: 6TX0024 Summary Requirement: The General Services Administration desires to lease approximately 984 rentable square feet of office and related space yielding a minimum of 856 usable square feet to house personnel, furnishings, and equipment, together with adequate parking including two (2) reserved parking spaces for government employees, either on-site or within one-block walking distance. The successful Offeror will be responsible for the cost of relocation, including the replacement of furniture, telecommunications, tenant improvements, and above standard alterations. Building Requirement: The facility must be professional and prestigious in appearance, well maintained, of modern design, and of sound and substantial construction. The space must be located all on one floor. The requested space must be fully serviced, and in a building capable of being altered to meet the Government?s needs and security requirements as well as requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The building offered must not contain sprayed on fire-proofing or acoustical treatment containing asbestos. Location / Delineated Area: The building offered must be located within the delineated area of Ellington Field, Houston, Texas Lease term: The term is for ten (10) years, five (5) years firm, and should be fully serviced. Occupancy Date: Space must be ready for occupancy no later than 08-04-08. Expressions of interest should include the following: 1. Building name and address or Lot # and Parcel Map. 2. Rentable square feet and rate per rentable square foot. 3. Confirm BOMA Method of Measurement, usable yield for available space by floor and building common area factor.
