Description
CHANGE THE RESPONSE DATE TO 30 APRIL 2007. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS ADDED. The engine dyno must have Powernet LT software. It needs to be commercially built to withstand a custom hi performance marine diesel in the 750 HP range. It must also be capable of loading a 650 HP gasoline engine. The load valve must be of a design that it controls the water flow on the inlet side of the water brake mechanically and electronically. The dyno must be able to operate in both directions of rotation. It must be capable of integrating the load valve into the software and also integrating the ECU of the engine. It must also incorporate an automatic correction factor based off of barometric pressure and humidity and incorporate a five gas exhaust gas analyzer that interfaces with software. It must also incorporate an integral air starter. It must have a removable mobile engine cart capable of holding up to 6000 lbs. It must fit in a dyno cell with marine engine installed, that is 12 feet x 14 feet in size and able to operate on 1000 gals of water. IT must include 3 days of onsite training in a secuare naval command and include tech support for the life of the dyno. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additonal information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Clin 0010, P# 43571.1, 50X Calibration Kit, 1 ea. H92244-07-T-0039 is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Submit written offers; oral orders will not be accepted.
