Description: The project consists of road decommissioning by recontouring and decompacting, as well as soil restoration on the Clearwater Ranger District. Work includes drainage maintenance, subgrade scarification, road obliteration, seeding and hand straw mulching and miscellaneous related work. The project is located approximately 28 miles east of Grangeville via State Highway 13 and Lightning Creek Road #244. Following Lightning Creek Road to mile point 8.7, Orchard Creek is to the left. The project is expected to begin around May 15, 2007 and be completed by September 30, 2007.
