Description
The Fort Eustis Directorate of Contracting is conducting market research in order to identify the availability of sources that can service and maintain a TCS BASYS, SP1000, Single Loop Control System and multiple pneumatic control systems at Fort Lee , Virginia. Servicing and maintaining includes preventive maintenance, repairs, replacement of defective parts, complete controls, heat pumps, air compressors and other service calls to maintain the systems at maximum operating conditions. This is not a f ormal solicitation or a request for proposal. This is a Sources Sought announcement seeking only small business responses in order to determine small business participation in the acquisition. For the purpose of small businesses, the NAICS code is 811310 , Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance, with a size standard of $6.5M. This request for information is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, and the Government will no t pay for information received as a result of this announcement. The results of this request may lead to a future synopsis announcement in FEDBIZOPS as a request for proposal or an invitation for bid. Your response shall include the following information : company name, company size and socio-economic status (i.e. Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, Woman-Owned Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, etc.), number of employees, revenue for the last three years, relevant past performance on same /similar work dating back not more than three years and an explanation of how your companys core competencies match the requirements of this announcement. In addition, responses to the following questions shall be included with your response: Do you emp loyee a mechanic with a HVAC recognized journeyman license, C.F.C. certification, training on TCS BASYS, SP1000, Single Loop Control System, at least four years of experience as a pneumatic controls mechanic and at least two years experience in maintenance and repair of air compressors?; How many mechanics do you have on staff that meet the above requirements? What portion of this requirement could you perform as a prime contractor? What portion of this requirement would you subcontract? If you have est ablished market and/or catalog pricing and/or commercial terms and conditions for this type of service, provide that information as well.
