Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This proc urement is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns under NAICS Code 562219 (SIC 4953) with a size standard of $11,500,000.00. The USACE, Vicksburg District has a need to rebuild one (1) Fixed Activated Sludge Treatment (FAST) Marine Sanitation Device (MSD) Model 28100, and return it to proper operating condition. MSD Serial Number 3841 is located on the POWER BARGE 5014 in the V icksburg Harbor, 2577 Haining Road, Vicksburg, MS 39183. Work shall be done onboard the POWER BARGE 5014. Work must begin upon receipt of award, and be completed no later than 30 June 2007. This Solicitation contains ONE LINE ITEM (0001) which must be performed in accordance with the Specifications contained herein. QUOTE for LINE ITEM 0001 is $_______________________________. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials supplies and equipment required to Remove old media and piping from inside the plant, Clean interior and Dispose of old materials properly, Fully Replace media and gratings, Replace air scour assemblies, Re place the airlift assemblies, and Replace air header assembly. The Contractor will not be required to perform any cutting or welding on the tank(s). QUALITY CONTROL: The contractor shall utilize their own internal quality control processes to ensure services are performed in accordance with commonly accepted commercial practices and this scope of work. QUALITY ASSURANCE: The Government may monitor the Contractors performance under this contract using such procedures as may be necessary to ascertain Contractor compliance with the performance requirements of this contract. PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES: The MSD must function properly and safely without leaks. Noncompliance with requirements is grounds for cancellation of contract. Payment will not be made for deficient performance. Offerors MUST INCLUDE a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with this offer. Award CANNOT be made unless you are registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Registering electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. will expedite the process.
