Description
The Bureau of Reclamation intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Application Security, Inc. from New York, NY. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The proposed action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the supplies that will satisfy the agency requirements. These are DbProtect AppDetective perpetual licenses, an AppSeclnc Console, and on-site training for them. A Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Firms that recognize and can provide the required items and services described above are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Firms believing they can provide similar required items must provide supporting evidence of that fact. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. All responses received within 5 days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should include the firm's Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) Number and Tax Identification Number (TIN). Firms should identify themselves as either small business, or other than small business, in accordance with the size standard of $18 million average gross income over a 3-year period using the North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code of 511210. Responses will only be accepted by FAX at (303) 445-6345, Attention: Ann Capron or e-mail at acapron@do.usbr.gov.
