Description

The National Park Service at Steamtown NHS in Scranton, PA will issue Solicitation Number Q4810070019 on or about April 24, 2007for coal deliveries. Proposals and bids will be due by May 24, 2007. The coal must meet the following specs: Sulfur: .5% to .9% max. Ash content: 5% to 7%. Volatile: 16% to 25%. BTU: 13,000 to 16,000. Size: 2" x 4" lump/egg. Estimated quantity is 300 tons. FOB Destination. Delivery by truck, 25 tons each load. COAL SHALL BE SCREENEE FOR REMOVAL OF DEBRIS AND FOREIGN MATERIAL PRIOR TO DELIVERY. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE CHEMICAL ANALYSIS OF EACH COAL DELIVERY. ANALYSIS TO BE SUBMITTED 5 DAYS PRIOR TO DELIVERY. DELIVERIES NOT MEETING SPECS, OR CONTAINING EXCESSIVE DEBRIS, WILL BE REFUSED. COAL RE-LOADING DUE TO REFUSAL OF DELIVERY WILL BE AT THE CONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE. Quotes will be evaluated using best value. This is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 423520, the PSC is 9110, and the size standard is 100 employees or less.
