- Description
- The Capital District Contracting Center plans to award a sole source contract to Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, PA. Mellon Arena is a facility that possesses all the technical accomodations and support personnel to produce the caliber of presentation re quired by the U.S. Army Military District of Washington, DC for the Spirit of America performances. The period of set-up and performance at Mellon Arena will be from 10 through 16 September 2007, inclusive. Mellon Arena rental and support services will be provided at an estimated total cost of $364,485.00. In accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by paragraph 6.302-1: Services for this requirement are for DoD and are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no ot her type of supplies or services will satisfy mission requirements.
