Description

This is a 5-year IDIQ contract for Isopropyl Alcohol, P/N: 5-1-3543, NSN: 6810-01-41-3650. This contract will be 100% competitive Small Business Set-Aside. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. The maximum estimated quantity is, 568 boxes (16 bottles per box). Drawings are not available. The Isopropyl Alcohol CAS Number 67-63-0) shall be reagent grade by American Chemical Society (ACS) assay method, per ACS publication Reagent Chemicals which specifies the alcohol, must b e of the highest purity level. The purity level required for the intended application on the M41 Mask Leakage Tester shall not be less than 99.5 percent. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is April 30, 2007. First Article is required. This sol icitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102 (2) (7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: http://aais.ria.army.mil. CAUTION: The solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is t herefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain and said amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for t he bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Note 1 applies.
