Description
Requirements Type Contract, Firm Fixed Priced, from date of award for base year with options to renew for four (4) additional years, utilizing Competitive Negotiation Procedures Utilizing Best Value Criteria to be submitted by offeror(s) for Technical Proposal, Administrative and Cost/Price proposal and Past performance for an RFP for the three (3) items in estimated quantities as follows; 0001. 5980-01-031-8858, Daylight Control, Type C, estimated annual quantity 1,733 each. 0002. 5980-01-034-6058, Daylight Control, Type L, estimated annual quantity 1,002 each. 0003. 5980-01-045-5470, Daylight Control, Type R, estimated annual quantity 8,005 each. All items are to be manufactured with various Coast Guard specification P-422-0137(A) dated October 2006 and Coast Guard drawings SK 1393 and SK 1394 which will be available on the internet at: www.FedBizOpps.gov. when the solicitation is issued. The Request for Proposal (RFP) and all associated documents will tentatively be issued on 4/27/07. Requests for copies of the solicitation are NOT available to be mailed. It is incumbent upon potential offerors to monitor the FedBizOpps system for the RFP and all subsequent amendments. Solicitation documents will only be made available via the Internet at via www.FedBizOpps.gov. . First Article Testing is required. Delivery for submission of the First Articles, two (2) each for items 0001a through 0003a is 60/90 days ARO. Production delivery is required Delivery is 150/180 after approval of First Article Samples. FOB: Destination, U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, Baltimore, Maryland 21226-5000. Packaging/packing shall be in accordance with ASTM-D3951 ?Standard Practice for Commercial Packaging?. Marking shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-129,and bar coding is required and shall be in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard Bar Coding Specification number D-000-0100 Revision F dated 06/00. All responsive and responsible firms may submit an offer which will be considered by this agency. *NOTE: SEE NOTE 26!
