- The A/V Unit (STTV) has a requirement for a a quantity of 100 DVD/CD 1 - 4 Duplicator: ? This duplicator is a single unit ?tower? capable of simultaneously creating up to four (4x) duplicate copies of the master DVD/CD. ? This duplicator must be standalone with no host PC necessary. However, the unit must have a combination USB2.0/Firewire port for connectivity to a PC, whereby a designated write drive(s) can be slaved from the PC. ? The duplicator?s controller must have a minimum of 8MB cache. ? The duplicator must be one button operational with a LCD Touch Screen Menu for operational options. The LCD displays a ?percentage complete? indicator; and displays the detection and status of Target DVD/CDs, Master DVD/CD, and the drives installed. ? The duplicator?s drives must incorporate buffer under-run technology (Burn Proof). ? The duplicator can be setup in ?Auto Format Detection? mode, shall be able to ?Auto Adjust? to different/varying media burn speeds, is able to support Packet, TAO, DAO/SAO, and RAW-SAO/DAO writing formats, and has ?Copy?, ?Test?, ?Verify?, ?Copy & Verify?, and ?Erase? functions. ? The duplicator must have a minimum 80GB Hard Drive to support ?HDD-to-four recorders? duplicating. In this mode, the master would first be downloaded to the HDD and then ?burned? to any/all of four (4) write drives. ? The duplicator must be capable of supporting ?one master drive-to-three write drive? duplicating. In this mode, the master DVD/CD would be placed in a single tray and one, two, or three blank DVD/CDs placed in the remaining drives for duplication. ? The duplicator must achieve DVD data capacities of 4.7GB single-sided disc and 8.5GB Dual/Double Layer disc. ? The duplicator write drives must minimally meet the following write speeds:  16x writing speed for DVD-R  8x writing speed for DVD-R DL (Dual Layer)  6x writing speed for DVD-RW ? The duplicator write drives must minimally support the following:  DVD-R (Ver 2.0 & 2.1 for General disc only)  DVD-R DL (Dual Layer, Ver 3.0)  DVD-RW (Ver 1.0, 1.1 & 1.2)  CD-R (Type 74, 650MB & Type 80, 700MB), CD-RW (including HS, US, US+) ? The duplicator read drive must minimally support the following:  DVD-ROM (Single & Dual Layer, Single & Dual Sided)  DVD-RAM (Ver 2.0, 2.1 & 2.2, non-cartridge version)  DVD-R, DVD-R DL (Dual Layer), DVD-RW +R, +R DL (Double Layer), +RW  CD-ROM Mode 1, CD-ROM XA Mode 2 (Form 1, Form 2)  CD-Text, Photo-CD (Single & Multiple Session), CD-DA, CD-Extra, CD-Text, Video CD, CD-R, CD-RW (including HS, US, US+) ? The duplicator write drives must minimally support the following DVD-R write speeds:  16x CAV (22.16 MB/sec)  12x PCAV / Zone CLV (16.62 MB/sec)  8x PCAV / Zone CLV (11.08 MB/sec)  6x CLV (8.31 MB/sec)  4x CLV (5.54 MB/sec)  2x CLV (2.77 MB/sec)  1x CLV (1.385 MB/sec) ? The duplicator write drives must minimally support the following DVD-R Dual Layer write speeds:  8x Zone CLV (11.08 MB/sec)  6x CLV (8.31 MB/sec)  4x CLV (5.54 MB/sec)  2x CLV (2.77 MB/sec) ? The duplicator write drives must minimally support the following DVD-RW write speeds:  6x CLV (8.31 MB/sec)  4x CLV (5.54 MB/sec)  2x CLV (2.77 MB/sec)  1x CLV (1.385 MB/sec) ? The duplicator write drives must minimally support the following CD-R write speeds:  40x CAV (6.00 MB/sec)  32x PCAV / Zone CLV (4.80 MB/sec)  24x PCAV / Zone CLV (3.60 MB/sec)  16x CLV (2.40 MB/sec)  10x CLV (1.50 MB/sec)  4x CLV (0.60 MB/sec) ? The duplicator write drives must minimally support the following CD-RW write speeds:  32x Zone CLV (4.80 MB/sec) (US+)  24x Zone CLV (3.60 MB/sec) (US and US+)  20x Zone CLV (3.00 MB/sec) (US and US+)  16x CLV (2.40 MB/sec) (US and US+)  10x CLV (1.50 MB/sec) (HS, US and US+)  4x CLV (0.60 MB/sec) (Normal and HS) ? The duplicator read drive must minimally support a DVD-ROM single layer read speed of 6x CAV (22.16 MB/sec). ? The duplicator read drive must minimally support a DVD-ROM dual layer read speed of 12x CAV (16.62 MB/sec). ? The duplicator read drive must minimally support a DVD-ROM single layer read speed of 16x CAV (22.16 MB/sec). ? The duplicator read drive must minimally support DVD-R, DVD-R dual layer, and DVD-RW read speeds of 12x CAV (16.62 MB/sec), 8x CAV (11.08 MB/sec), and 8x CAV (11.08 MB/sec). ? A USB and Firewire cable must accompany each duplicator for PC to duplicator connection. ? A complete manual must accompany each duplicator. ? Each duplicator must include Roxio Easy Media Creator v8.0 software to support USB2.0/Firewire connection and operation via a PC. ? The duplicator must come with a minimum two (2) years complete 100% warranty on all parts and labor with the exception of the drives which shall have a minimum of (1) one year warranty. ? A sample is required for testing prior to award. Pre-award sample is due to the Solicitor with the bid/proposal. ? Delivery must be complete within 45 days of award. Award will be based on the offerors sample product's capabilities with regard to the above specifications. Those determined to meet all of the above specifications prices will be compared and the lowest reasonable price will receive award. All bids and samples shall be delivered to the Drug Enforcement Administration, Office of Investigative Technology, 10555 Furnace Road, Lorton, VA. 22079 not later than April 25, 2007. All bids received lacking a sample will be considered non-responsive and will not be considered for award.
