Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) and the Warrior Training Course (WTC) have a requirement for 17,000 tons of Type II B Base Course crushed on site at Mockingbird Gap. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, tools and equipment to crush stone and mix aggregates. The contractor will provide, set-up and operate a rock crusher at the Mockingbird Gap gravel yard for the production of materials required and shall stockpile the materi als at that location for pick up by the Stallion Range Center workforce. Mockingbird Gap is located approximately 90 miles from White Sands Main Post and approximately 15 to 20 miles from the Stallion Range on Range Road 7. Raw materials will be provided to the contractor for crushing. The contractor is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of their equipment. Base Course will be crushed to New Mexico State Highway Standard Specifications Type II-B. Award will be made to a single offeror. This requ irement is set-aside 100% for Small Business. The applicable NAICS code is 324121 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The contract type will be fixed price. Payment will be made by Government Credit Card under Net 30 Terms. If you are se lected, you must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (http://www.ccr.gov/), if you are not registered in CCR at the time we are ready to make the award, you will be disqualified. Award will be made FOB White Sands Missile Range. Your pr icing should be ton. EVALUATION CRITERIA / PROCEDURES: Reference: FAR clause 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items. Award will be made to the lowest priced technically responsive and responsible offeror. Quotes will be evaluated on price related factors and ability to meet the specifications of the synopsis/solicitation. The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22 and 2001-23.
