This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W9133L-06-T-0215 and will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Fe deral Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-12. All responsible sources may submit a firm-fixed price (FFP) quote which shall be considered by the agency. Quote shall be labeled with the solicitation number. b. The Government intends to contract for a repair of equipment. c. Contractor shall submit a quote for the following equipment repair list. All quotes should be marked valid through midnight of May 30, 2007. Quotes should be for the entire list of equipment repair required by this solicitation. No partial equipment repair list quotes will be considered. Quote prices should include shipping costs. Quotes will be evaluated based on best price. If a quote fails to meet any of the instructions in this solicitation then it will be set aside and not considered. d. Support Equipment Repair List: Please send an e-mail request to Captain Glasgow for a copy of the required Support Equipment List. e. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to OfferorsCommercial Items, applies to this acquisition. f. Offeror is required to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and CertificationsCommercial Items, with its offer. g. No ncompetitive Contract Action: The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The source is FLIR. This is a sole source requirement because FLIR owns the exclusive rights in repair of their equipment. 20. Place of Contract Performance/Shipment Location: Support Equipment will be shipped to FLIR after contract award. Shipment location will be within the continental United States. 21.
