Description

The Texas National Guard intends to enter into a firm-fixed price contract to obtain five single-operator shelving systems for the USPFO For Texas Warehouse at Camp Mabry, Austin, Texas. Each installed single-operator shelving system must have its own captive lifting and handling device. The hoist motor and drive mechanisms must be top mounted for maximum storage capacity. The system should have a minimum 2000 lb lifting capacity (uniformally distributed load). All pallets shall be removable and adjustable and should be accessible with a conventional pallet jack and fork lift when out of the system. Each bay will have minimum of four levels of adjustable storage per section and should equal a total of 904 storage spaces. All five systems should occupy approximately 9,221 square feet of warehouse space. This is an unrestricted purchase with an associated NAICS of 337215 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held at 10:00 am CST on April 17 at the USPFO For Texas Warehouse Conference Room, Bldg 72, 2200 West 35th Street, Camp Mabry, Austin, Texas. A Request for Proposal will be issued on or about April 17, 2007 to all responsible sources.
