Description

Sources Sought Notice The purpose of this Sources Sought/Market Research is to identify potential sources capable of gear cutting as follows internal and external involute splines, fillet root, side fit, class 5. Splines need to be in both 24/48 pitch and 32/64 pitch to name a few. Prints available upon request and signature of non-disclosure agreement. Delivery of the gears would be to Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. There are 6 parts with the approximate quantity on each part of 50 pieces. Firms capable of supplying t his product should indicate their interest by providing the Government a brief summary of their company by contacting Ilana Bohren at ilana.bohren@us.army.mil. Your request should include cage code, company name, address, phone number, email address and a point of contact and estimated price and availability. Please respond NO LATER THAN April 20, 2007. This is a Sources Sought for planning purposes and shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government. T he Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Sources Sought or otherwise pay for information solicited. The information you provide will only be utilized by TACOM Rock Island in developing its acquisition approach for future requ irements.
