- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ARO R9929070011 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), which incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 541519 small businesses standard size is 150 employees. Description of work: Support and troubleshooting of the aforementioned equipment, to include express parts/replacement item shipping. The requirement is for annual Tipping Point Maintenance for the following items: LINE ITEM 0001: 1 ea. Dell 1750 s/n B494J41 serving as the Tippingpoint SMS server. LINE ITEM 0002: 2 ea. Tippingpoint IPA series 200's. Intrusion Prevention Appliances. A. Serial number IPA200C-0059-4903; B. Serial number IPA200C-0110-1204. The location of equipments: National Park Service, Alaska Regional Office, 240 West 5th Ave, Anchorage, Alaska, 99501. The following provisions in their latest editions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation, Commercial Items (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the RFQ will be most advantageous to the Government, lowest price technically acceptable and delivery. Offerors shall include a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-- Commercial Items, with their quotes. A copy of the Offerors Representations and Certifications may be obtained from following websites: http://www.arnet.gov/far or http://www.doi.gov/pam/aindex.html. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. Award can only be made to contractors registered in Central Contractor Registration (website: http://www.ccr.gov).
