Description
Questions and Answers during site visit conducted 11 April 2007. Q. Are all circuit breakers functional? A. All circuit breakers have been tested and they are functional. Q. Will a report be required upon completion of work? A. Yes, after all work has been accomplished, the contractor shall submit a report indicating what was repaired and what was replaced. Q. Will the contractor have free access to the work area? A. Contractor must coordinate with the technical POC after contract award to ensure they are granted access to work area. Q. Will the contractor need to return material? A. Anything that is removed from the light fixtures needs to be returned to the Government. That does NOT include materials that the contractor purchased and did not use. Q. Will the Govt furnish tool for aiming lights? A. Yes, the Govt will furnish aiming tool. Q. What does the bid entail? A. The Govt is concerned with all the lights working. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price contract; it will not be modified if the contractor ends up changing more or less lights than what he/she estimates in the quote. Q. Will the lights need to be aimed? A. Contractor will aim lights in the correct position, as directed by the Govt. Q. Does each pole have a different photo cell? A. Each pole has its own photo cell. Q. How tall are the poles? A. Poles are on average 115 ft tall.
