- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: 500 a. NAICS: 561621 The items required for subject acqusition consists of the following: Item 0001- 5 each; P/N: MPT 33C-C50G, Full Height Turnstile, Galvanized-2-Way Electric Bi-Directional, Prison Grade. Item 0002- 5 each; P/N:MPT-33-ES/Modification to Header Channel Cover, Includes Wiring Panel with NO/NC Monitor Switch, Tamper Screws with Tool Request delivery date is 30 days ARO. Mfr: Turnstiles Justification for Brand Name Only : Required items are required to control enty to the PL2 and PL3 parking apron integral to the intrusion detection system currenlty in-place to implement entry control as required by AFI 31-101. The following clauses (current through FAC 2005-13 and DFARS Change Notice 20060908) are applicable to subject solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors; 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items; and 52-212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items; DFARS 252.212-7000, and DFARS 252.211-7003 (Item Identification and Valuation) In accordance with Clause 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be price and price related factors.
