- ********************************************************************************************************************************* RESPONSE DATE EXTENDED to MONDAY 5/7/2007 -- REFER TO AMENDMENT 0002 ********************************************************************************************************************************* The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) is seeking proposals from business entities interested in supporting the demand for a variety of Navy and Air Force Unique Food Service Equipment (FSE) items to include Federal Stock Class (FSC) items 4110 -- Refrigeration Equipment, 7310 -- Food Cooking, Baking, and Serving Equipment, and 7320 -- Kitchen Equipment and Appliances (SEE ATTACHED LIST OF APPROVED ITEMS). This initiative will fall under FAR Part 12 Commercial Contracting. The initial solicitation will require pricing for 392 items divided into 63 lots by manufacturer and 330 items (with basic installation) divided into 45 lots by manufacturer. The delivery requirement will be depend on OEM production and delivery lead times. Award will be by lot. Vendors must quote all items in a single lot in order to be considered for an award for that lot; however, vendors are not required to offer on all lots to be considered for an award. Prospective contractors shall have Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) capability. Subject solicitation will be issued as Unrestricted with the resultant contract being a Requirements Contract for a (1) year base period with four (4) one-year options. The estimated cost for the entire (5) year contract is $75M. This will be a low price technically acceptable selection acquisition. Solicitation SPM3SE-07-R-0002 is expected to be issued on or about November 29, 2006 and will be available electronically on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil along with any other files required under this solicitation one business day after issuance. RFP's are in PDF format; Adobe readable software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. No hard copies of the solicitation are available. Electronic copies of the list of items can be obtained upon request via email at: Dawn.Leason@dla.mil or Karen.Howard@dla.mil. Offerors shall submit their price proposal via CD-ROM in addition to a proposal package. Vendors are requested to review attached list of lots for part number and NSN accuracy. Feedback is required at the Pre-Proposal Conference to be held 15-20 days after solicitation issuance. Actual place and date of Conference will be provided via FedBizOpps when determined.
