Description

Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for project 538-07-110, entitled "Roof and Gutter Repairs, Buildings 18, 26 and 27" at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio, as required by drawings and specifications. The work includes, but is not limited to replace existing built-in-copper lining of gutters, existing copper hung gutters, existing flat roof flashing, existing copper downspouts, existing copper flashing at gable ends and existing copper valleys with new copper and replace existing built-up roofs with new epdm roofing. Work to be completed within 145 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Plans, specification, and drawings will be available on line o/a April 30, 2007. hard copies of specifications and drawings will be available upon written request to the Contracting Officer, requests may be faxed to 740-772-7008. Estimated cost range is between $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. A pre-bid conference and site visit will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. EST at the DVA Medical Center, Building 1, Room 121, 17273 State Route 104, Chillicothe, Ohio; all prospective contractors, subcontractors and suppliers are urged to attend. This will be the only site visit scheduled for this project. This project is 100% Set Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. NAICS 238160.
