Description

This is a fixed price (FP), Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) type contract wherein work will be accomplished through issuance of task order(s) for painting and roofing maintenance at the various facilities in Misawa Air Base, Japan. The contractor shall provide supervision, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work required, all in accordance with the specifications provided under this IDIQ Contract and the scope of work called for by individual task order. The duration of the contract will be one basic year with four one-year options that may be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The guaranteed minimum amount is $5,000.00/?566,500, and the maximum limit is $18,000,000.00/?2,039,400,000 for the entire life of the contract. NOTE: The offeror represents that it has been duly authorized to operate and to do business in the country of Japan in which the contract is to be performed IAW DFARS 252.225-7042 Authorization to Perform. Also the Contractor shall, without additional expense to the Government, be responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses and permits, and for complying with any host government (Japanese government) and political subdivision laws, codes, and regulations applicable to the performance of the work IAW FAR 52.236-7, Permits and Responsibilities.
